25-08-2016, 05:46 AM #11I would hardly say it happens often nor would I say it's a one off as it did jam open upon just starting the car the other month and then today for some reason whilst driving it jammed open.

One thing I did notice (apologies for the poor terminology here) but when pulling the throttle wheel the car revs fine then the small pulley to the left rattles as the engine is reducing revs, it sounds asthough a screw/bolt is loose or that kind of sound.
Unfortunately without taking the casing off it's hard to properly see

Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

24-12-2016, 10:28 AM #19you couldnt of timed it better if you tryed dan, dont think toyolex will be happy hearing another case but i think you should tell them just in case mate! mine got stuck about a year ago but like others have said slipped mat was the cause but even then i had to prise the peddle off the floor luckily its not reoccured.
mine defo isn't mat related might be worth giving them a shout, although I can see them turning round saying my car's too old (2000X)
