Lexusboy Steve what sort of feedback would you give this reader?Excellent. Cheap and does the job. Doesn't do anything fancy, but it reads the codes, and lets you reset them. Could easily pay for itself in a single use if it saves you paying a garage to tell you what's wrong with your car.

UPDATE
Last night, it was getting late, and dark and my mains power light was quite ****.
Basically I had a brain wave, and figured out why my trc, abs and engine check light was on.
The is200 comes with abs trc connectors on the outer edge of the wings. I had to disconnect these connectors to renove the broken front end. The wiring loom runs on the inside of the left and right headlight support bars.
The engine check light was caused by a snesor ontop of the airbox
Now I have no errors on the dash.
But stll confused on the bizzar radiator issue.
I started it this morning external temprature was about 8c. I let it warm up and idle, the temp went up slowly and the gauge moved slowly, eventually it reached 5 bars off the bottom, and I felt the pipes, top pipe was warm and the right hand side of the radiator was warn, the bottom pipe closer to the water pump was warm but the end that goes on the radiator was cold.
I had set the heaters on screen, and the warmest setting with fans on full speed.
Hot air was comming out from them

I don't really know, sorry, I'll see if I can check mine. But the thermostat has the opening temperature imprinted on it, and yes, it will be around 80 degrees C (probably 82).
hmm this is an interesting thread...sorry to hijack it but...my TRC light has been flashing for ages now as some ppl may know but I've not had a chance to get it sorted but have had codes read and nothing came back so possibly one of the sensors but dont know which one but.....my car had frontal damage so could it be one of the front sensors? I really need to get my traction control working before winter really kicks in.

See this procedure for how to check the speed sensors.
